Humphrey Lynch Ballymakeera Ltd. (A. Ó Loingsigh Teo.) is a family run coffin manufacturing business located in the mid-Cork Gaeltacht region of Ballymakeera, Co. Cork. The origins of our company date back to 1890, when Humphrey Lynch (Grandfather of the present Managing Director), commenced a carpentry shop from humble beginnings in the centre of Ballymakeera village.
The carpentry and coffin-making business passed to his son Jeremiah Lynch and when Humphrey Lynch took over the business in 1967 he moved to a Greenfield site and commenced manufacturing coffins for the wholesale market. It was from here the business developed and operates from today. Humphrey Lynch Ballymakeera Ltd. is a family business run by the Lynch family.
